You’ll need a Munzdalorian Mailbox Munzee to receive your rewards! This retro spaceship might seem similar to another 80s pop culture icon, but our mail delivery droid retrofit it to travel across galaxies (and timezones) far, far away in order to make deliveries this time around! This motored mailer will deliver virtual items to Mailbox owners starting on May 4th, 2024, but you’ll be able to start earning daily points as soon as you deploy it.

How the Munzdalorian Mailbox Works

Starting Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 00:01 MHQ, each day you cap your Munzdalorian Mailbox you will be awarded a different Scrap Wars themed Greeting Card capture, similar to the other mailboxes. Please note that you’ll only be able to earn that specific card on that day, so you really don’t want to miss a day. The Munzdalorian Mailbox is available for $25 and includes the following:

  • 1 Munzdalorian Mailbox Munzee to deploy and move around anywhere at anytime!
  • 1 Daily Capture of the mailbox each MHQ day starting on April 19th or when first deployed, which should help with keeping up your streaks!
  • 28 Mailbox Prize Days starting on May 4th and ending on May 31st, which will deliver the goodies below when captured, including Cards, Zeds, Munzees to deploy and more!
  • 28 Themed Greeting Cards to both CAPTURE and DEPLOY!
  • 1 ROBO F3TT Mech deployed when capturing the mailbox on May 4th
  • Exclusive access to Double Point Events

If you’re interested, you can purchase it in the FT Store! You will still be able to purchase the mailbox after it begins, but you won’t be able to earn rewards from the days that have passed. We suggest purchasing your mailbox as soon as possible to start learning the mysteries it beholds!

ROBO F3TT Mech

Beware the greatest bounty hunter bot the galaxy has ever seen: ROBO F3TT! Like the other Munzee Mechz, ROBO F3TT is a temporary POB. ROBO F3TT will remain on the map until it has been captured 10 times, as you can see below. You will receive a fully-built ROBO F3TT that will auto-deploy on your account when you capture your Mailbox on May 4th. You will also receive the Blueprint to rebuild it when you have earned enough Cogs in the future. It will cost 18 Cogs to rebuild this mech.

You can find these high flying pyros at the landing pads above every 6 hours or when captured.

ROBO F3TT will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture a ROBO F3TT on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same ROBO F3TT visits you. ROBO F3TT is non-blastable. It will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access it by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.

When a ROBO F3TT is captured, it will scatter up to 3 BOBA T3A.

These scatters will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Mech owner’s account. They expire after 120 minutes and have a capture radius of 300 feet. These scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

  • Munzdalorian Mailbox Deploy Badge — deploying a Munzdalorian Mailbox will earn you a special badge that you can see below.
  • Munzdalorian Mailbox Card Capture Badges — capture at least 1 of each unique Munzdalorian Mailbox card! We’ll keep what these look like a secret for now.
  • Munzdalorian Mailbox Scatter Event Badges — You can also earn badges at various points during the specific scatter events, but we want those to be a surprise throughout the month.
  • ROBO F3TT Badges — deploying a ROBO F3TT mech will earn you the corresponding Blueprint badge that you can also see below. There is also a unique badge for capturing what the force has kept hidden for the time being…

October 2023 Skin: Hedgehog Hedge

As the month comes to a close, we wanted to make sure you were heading into September with your desired Hedges! The skin for completing your September capture streak (and the corresponding badge), which is the Sloth Garden Hedge shown below, will be awarded in early October. But, we couldn’t wait to share what’s in store for next month!

September Hedge Reminders

If you haven’t picked up a Hedge yet, they are available in the Freeze Tag Store for $4.

How to have a permanent Hedge on your account next year:

  • Own at least 8 Hedges by the end of the year
    • Each month, the price of a Hedge will decrease by $1.
    • However, players can only purchase 1 Hedge every 28 days.

Also, don’t forget that Reseller Garden Hedges have arrived!  These unique munzee types are only available for purchase from participating Munzee Resellers, so shop now!

What Hedge Skin can you look forward to earning in October? The Hedgehog Garden Hedge! Like the other hedges, the Hedgehog Garden Hedge is a temporary POB that will remain on the map as long as players with permanent Garden Hedges continue to use it.

  • Overall capture badges — capture as many hedges as you can find!

Get Spooky with our NEW Witch’s Potions Specials!

Do you hear that? That’s the sound of Spooky Season approaching! It’s that time of year when the leaves turn golden, and the air becomes crisp with the scent of adventure. To celebrate the spooktacular season, we’re delighted to introduce the enchanting Witch’s Potions Specials! Get ready to embark on a bewitching journey filled with 25 different Ingredient MOBs. Let’s dive into the cauldron of excitement and see what’s brewing!

Witch’s Potion Specials

Witch’s Potions specials are now live on the map for everyone and will remain available until Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 23:59 MHQ.

Similar to Hot Dogz specials, there will be 12 physical Ingredients and the 13 virtual Ingredients released throughout the month, including 4 extra limited-time Ingredients for Friday the 13th– so get ready! You will be building “Potions” which equate to badges with these ingredients, so the more you cap the more potions you’ll create! 

At launch you can expect to see the ingredients shown below, but more ingredients will appear as the month goes on, so make sure to keep an eye out! We’ll be releasing 150 of each Ingredient, except for the Friday the 13th specials which will get 300 of each, so make sure you get out there and grab some icky Ingredients FAST!

Some of the potion badges have magical effects and will award a booster to the owner!

The Bounty Ships are a new Gaming type based on the classic board game- with a Pirate twist! Like other Gaming munzees, once you cap the base pin it will kickstart a game for you to play out in the real world! The physical Red Bounty Ship and the virtual Blue Bounty Ship, are different types, but they work very similarly.

As an added bonus capturing any of the Bounty Ship types/scatters will have the chance to award hidden treasure! Zeds, cogs, jewel shards, and other types of prizes are added to some captures. At launch the probability of getting multiple prizes within this mini game is quite high so give it a shot!

The point values for the Bounty Ship Munzees are as follows:

Points 

  • Cap: 35
  • CapOn: 30
  • Deploy: 40

Prepare For Battle!

When you capture the base Bounty Ship it will scatter 1-3 of the associated colored cannonballs: Red Cannonballs or Blue Cannonballs! Capturing a cannonball will then award either a HIT! or MISS! You’ll be setting sail and firing cannonballs to try to hit and SINK all the enemy ships – the goal is to keep capturing cannonballs so you can sink all of the ships and earn all the badges to win the game of Bounty Ship!

So let those Cannonballs fly and hope for a mighty hit!

For both of the Cannonballs, the amount of points for the Capture will be based on the result of the firing. They both will be 20 points for the CapOn. Both will have a Capture Radius of 150 feet and expire after 120 minutes. Beware though, a MISS! will result in -5 points! 

Now here’s where things get a little tricky! The result from capping a Cannonball will be one of five different HIT! options based on different enemy ship sizes. So if you cap a Red Cannonball you might earn a Blue Submarine HIT! This will be vice-versa for the Blue Cannonball since you’re firing on Red ships. Based on the size of the ship you’ll earn different amounts of points.

  • Brigantine Ship HIT!- 50 Capture Points
  • Schooner HIT!- 40 Capture Points
  • Sloop HIT!- 30 Capture Points
  • Submarine HIT!- 20 Capture Points
  • Lifeboat HIT!- 10 Capture Points

Badges

You’ll need to HIT! each style of Ship multiple times in order to earn a SUNK badge depending on the size of the ship. There will be a corresponding badge for sinking each Ship as well as, and if you manage to sink them all you might earn something too! That means there are lots of badges to go along with these ships! Here’s a sneak peek of one but you’ll have to be on your best pirate-y behavior to earn the rest!

September 2023 GOTM Winners

This month saw a lot of awesome submissions, but ultimately, we narrowed it down to these two lovely gardens! Remember that all winning GOTM organizers and all players who deployed in the winning gardens will be awarded special badges for their contribution to growing the map. September 2023 Skin: Sloth Hedge

As the month comes to a close, we wanted to make sure you were heading into August with your desired Hedges! The skin for completing your August capture streak (and the corresponding badge), which is the Elephant Garden Hedge shown below, will be awarded in early September. But, we couldn’t wait to share what’s in store for next month!

August Hedge Reminders

If you haven’t picked up a Hedge yet, they are available in the Freeze Tag Store for $5.

How to have a permanent Hedge on your account next year:

  • Own at least 8 Hedges by the end of the year
    • Each month, the price of a Hedge will decrease by $1.
    • However, players can only purchase 1 Hedge every 28 days.

Also, don’t forget that Reseller Garden Hedges have arrived!  These unique munzee types are only available for purchase from participating Munzee Resellers, so shop now!

What Hedge Skin can you look forward to earning in September? The Sloth Garden Hedge! Like the other hedges, the Sloth Garden Hedge is a temporary POB that will remain on the map as long as players with permanent Garden Hedges continue to use it.

As stated earlier, to earn this skin, you’ll need to complete next month’s (September’s) capture streak. Once the skin is awarded in October, you can change the skin on the hedge to this one at any point — refer to our Help Guide article for the instructions!

You can find this unhurried hedge at the following landing pads every 6 hours or when captured:

Additionally, the Sloth Garden Hedge will scatter up to 1-3 NEW Cradle of Venus Flowers nearby when it is captured!

Like the other Hedge Flowers, these scatters will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Hedge owner’s account. This means that unlike Air Mystery Feathers/Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes and have a capture radius of 300 feet. These hedge scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

As a reminder, Garden Hedges have 4 associated badge lines:

  • Unique type deploy badges — you’ll need to earn each month’s skin by keeping your streak up!
  • Overall deploy badges — the more hedges you deploy, the merrier!
  • Unique type capture badges — capture at least 1 of each skinned hedge!
  • Overall capture badges — capture as many hedges as you can find!

September 2023 Clan Wars Requirements

It’s almost September! You’ll find all the latest details to our clan requirements and rewards in the clan section of our app. It is possible that we could update clan requirements prior to September 3 and reserve the right to do so. The final requirements and rewards will always be shown in the app.

There is a limit of one per player per product/month. You can purchase the September ClanPak HERE! This is NOT a subscription program.

Individual

  • at least 5 days of activity
  • at least 10,000 total points

Your Clan can earn monthly badges to earn for reaching distinct levels of Clan Wars each month. You won’t be able to earn a badge until the entire clan has reached the specified level. There will be a total of 6 badges available in September. The first badge will appear as follows:
