Tell Us About Your Easter Traditions

Last year was a great year for events, and we want to make 2017 even better. As we plan for this year’s events, we want to incorporate our Everyone. Everywhere. theme and recognize our worldwide community. That begins with Easter events.

For the Easter event packages, we would like to reflect some of the worldwide Easter traditions. We’ve created a Google Form where you can tell us about your Easter traditions, e.g. Easter Bonnets, Easter Egg Hunts, Easter Parades, etc. These are community events and should reflect that.

We can’t wait to hear from you!

2016- Munzee Events

2016 was great year for Munzee Inc. and we’re excited to look back on some of the highlights! The “2016 in Review” series will showcase different aspects of the company and some of our team’s favorite parts of 2016.

It gives me great pleasure to take a few minutes away from setting up all these amazing Christmas parties to say THANK YOU to all of the players for their contribution to events. To my lovely hosts for putting the events on and being so great to work with, and to the amazing players that travel all over the world to attend the events and make them so fun.

My favourite aspect is the artwork and I’d like to say a massive thanks to the incredible Trish for her amazing work. I also love seeing you all have fun and get involved at the events in your Dodgy Jumpers and Easter Bonnets!

It’s fun to surprise my loyal hosts with stuff such as Emerald gardens in their area and to reward attendees with hidden extras at the events they go to. This will continue.

I loved the MunzFit events and the way players supported me, Rob and Matt in our successful attempt at 2 Guinness World Records, thank you.

I’ve been lucky enough to attend a few events myself this year and it’s been wonderful to put names to faces and meet players I’ve been working with for a couple of years now. I will be continuing my efforts to spread the events love far and wide and look forward to working with many of you and meeting even more of you!

Munzee on and thank you x.

2016 Dodgy Jumper Competition

We’re back this year with our Dodgy Jumper Competitions, and they’ve been great so far! Below are winners from events that hosts chose or players voted on. (We may also add some honorable mentions, such as hosts who couldn’t win.) We’ll be updating the gallery as more events happen!

Christmas Parties Are About to Begin!

‘Twas the month of December and planning was in full swing.
Holiday parties were starting, which made Louise sing.

The events were lined out, on the calendar for all to see.
If yours isn’t on there, submit it so others can join in on the glee.

Dodgy Jumpers were dusted off for their yearly wear.
The dodgiest of all earn a special badge for their flair.
Remember Hosts, to submit your best.
We want to award the winners who show the most fest.

Santa’s Sack was loaded to the brim with prizes,
For Hosts it’s just an extra $20 for rewards of all sizes.
It’s never too late to add in this present,
Just email Louise, because it’s money well spent.

So as we begin this glorious time of year,
Here’s a little sneak peak of a badge-worthy reindeer!

TRANSCRIPT (for those not rhyming inclined)

It’s December, let’s get the parties started!
We are so excited to see all the events on the calendar, we hope you’re all getting your Dodgy Jumpers ready!

Hosts please remember to submit your winner with their username and photo to Louise after the event and both the winner and the hosts will get the Dodgy Jumper 2016 badge.

We’re excited for you to see the prizes in Santa’s Sack too. Most events have that added extra ($20), but if you don’t and you’d like it please contact Louise.

It’s not too late to get your event on the calendar either: Just submit your event on!

Here (see above) is a sneaky preview of the Attendee badge that you will all get if you go to a Christmas Party this month!

Munzee on, and have fun!

Thank you,

Louise x

2016 Munzee Christmas Parties!

Hello my lovely hosts, it’s that time of year again – time to plan your Munzee Christmas Parties! Last year was fantastic, there were so many great events all over the world. Let’s do it again!

First step is to get your event on the calendar and think about what you’d like to have included. Prices are as normal but various packages are available which unlock certain host badges. Christmas Parties are for the whole of December and every package includes a Christmas Party Attendee Badge and some surprises.

Just like the unicorns helped us celebrate the birthday events, the reindeer will be getting involved in the Christmas parties.  Here are the packages:

  • The Prancer – Basic event and no proximity restrictions – $30
  • The Dancer – The Prancer plus 5 mystery virtuals – $35
  • The Vixen – The Dancer plus badge and icon – $135
  • The Rudolph – The Vixen plus Eventzee – $185

Father Christmas is bound to make another visit… if you’d like to have a rummage in his bag please request the Santa’s Sack option for $20, this gives every attendee a free credit item.

Don’t forget to dig out your Dodgy Jumpers again too, a badge and a spot in the gallery is up for grabs at each event. The host just needs to email me with the winner!

Don’t forget to leave plenty of time for artwork, get those requests in ASAP please. We will move to generic art options when the Trish’s diary is full and we will communicate that nearer the time. Really looking forward to hearing from you and having some fun!

For further details please drop me an email at [email protected].
