In our continued effort to expand opportunities to new players, and keep the map full of Munzees that can be captured, we will be taking the next steps in inactive account archival. Starting at 00:01 September 17, 2018 we will begin archiving some physical munzees for all accounts with no activity in the past 720 days. These accounts will now be considered “Retired” unless there is some sort of activity between now and the 17th.
The physical munzees that will be archived are those created by individual players, not official MHQ stickers with generic codes, with no activity in the past 180 days. If you would like to keep munzees active in your area please cap them before this time. The purpose of this initiative is to open up spots for new players to deploy and also to uphold maintenance on game pieces that may be missing or have been weathered down. This ideally should help with bouncing specials, Myths and Nomads as well.
We will also make Recycles active Thursday September 13 at 10:00 MHQ through Saturday September 15 at 10:00 MHQ. This will better help you see old munzees in risk of being archived. We do not want to keep Recycles active the entire weekend though, so you can still get the munzees in Jewel form if you would like for September Clan Wars requirements.
Thank you all for your support! We look forward to new and current players alike being able to take advantage of this change. Munzee on!
Is anyone out there in need of additional items to deploy? Specifically motel, hotel, mystery, and jewels?
In the middle of last month we updated points on all nomads and released a Nomad Pak for sale in the online store which included a discount code for a free MVM. The previous sale has ended but the Pak is Back! In September we’ve increased the quantity of a few items and we’ve changed the discount and what you receive.
The September Nomad Pak includes (for $20):
- 2 Retired Reseller Unique Munzees (RUMs)
- 3 Random Jewel Munzees
- 5 Mystery Munzees
- 1 Hotel Munzee
- 1 Motel Munzee
- 10 Generic Munzees
These are all physical munzees that will be shipped to you. $28-$40 value depending on which random jewels are received.
USE CODE FreeAqua to receive 2 free aquamarine credits at checkout*
These aqua credits are added immediately so you can deploy them while you are waiting for your stickers to arrive!
*You must add this Nomad Pak and 2 aquamarine credits to your cart before using the code to have the discount applied.
As always we appreciate all of you for growing the game and hope this updated Nomad Pak will also help you Grow the Map!

Step on up and try your luck! We’ve added new levels to our line of Prize Wheel Capture Badges!
Admittedly the first line of Prize Wheel badges were maybe a bit TOO easy to beat so we’ve stepped up the requirements for these new ones substantially! These badges continue to show off some of the prizes you might get playing carnival games.
Plinko Floppy Hat- Capture 250 Prize Wheel Munzees.
Lucky Duck Matching- Capture 2,500 Prize Wheel Munzees.
Ring Toss Gold Fish- Capture 5,000 Prize Wheel Munzees
New Prize Wheel badges are now live to earn and they are retroactive. Help out your fellow players and deploy a few Prize Wheels too! We’ve put Prize Wheel 5 packs back on sale for $17.50 (regularly $25). These will be on sale until Monday at 10:00 MHQ time, so don’t waste any time.
Good luck and spin away! Munzee on!
Room service, anyone?
We’re happy to announce that a new line of badges have been released for capturing and deploying Destination Munzees of any type. With rooms booked up so often we wanted to give our players even more of a reason to continue capturing and deploying Motels, Hotels, Virtual Resorts and Timeshares.
These new badges are retroactive, but you’ll only be able to see the requirements for the next badge once you complete the previous one.
Here’s a look at the first badge for each set.
Lever Lock Key- Capture 150 Destination Munzees of any type. Rooms do not count.
One Star Motel Blueprints- Deploy 250 Destination Munzees of any type. Rooms do not count.
Once you earn the first in the set you’ll unlock the requirements for the next badge. Please note that Rooms within Destination Munzees will not count toward these badges. All of the badges are live so you can start earning them now.
These badges may be a bit tough to earn, but nobody said building a Destination empire was easy!
Happy hunting and as always, Munzee on!
Prize Wheel Munzees have always given a bit extra, including ZeeCred more recently, but now, they’ve got another prize for you!
We’re happy to announce a new line of badges for capturing Prize Wheel Munzees!
These badges show off some of the prizes you might get playing carnival games, but like the Jewel Collector badges, you’ll only be able to unlock one at a time. The first badge in the line is “Balloon Darts Beach Ball” badge for capturing 1 Prize Wheel Munzee.
Balloon Darts Beach Ball- Capture 1 Prize Wheel Munzee.
After earning the first badge in the set, the requirements for the next will appear. These badges will start awarding tomorrow, March 9th, at 00:01 MHQ time and WILL be retroactive.
We hope you enjoy these new badges!
Good luck, and Munzee on!
Collecting jewel munzees has become a staple of the game, but what are you to do with all of those precious stones you’ve captured?
We’re happy to announce that a new line of badges have been released for capturing certain jewel munzees. These badges track captures on non-blastable jewels: Topaz, Aqua, Diamond, Ruby, Pink Diamond and Amethyst.
Null Image for Jewel Collector Badges.
The design of these badges feature a few ideas of where you might safely keep some of those jewels, but you’ll only be able to unlock one at a time. To start things off, you can earn the “Hidden Hole” badge by capturing 200 non-blastable jewel munzees. It may not seem like much of a security system, but you’ve got to start somewhere, right?
Hidden Hole- Capture 200 non-blastable Jewel Munzees.
Once you earn the first in the set you’ll unlock the requirements for the next badge. These may not be the easiest badges to earn, but you’ve really got to work for the added security. For those that are able to achieve maximum security, keep your eyes out for a secret Level 4 badge that won’t show up until you earn it.
Happy hunting for jewels and as always, Munzee on!
