Dinner is Served with Korea Global Grub!

Chu ka he yo! Are you feeling hungry? Hopefully you’ve left some room in your stomach, because we have a brand new Global Grub hitting the map! Korea Global Grub will officially start bouncing around today at 15:00 MHQ time!

This time around we’re feeling extra generous with the servings, as FIVE Korea Global Grub Munzees will be deployed. This physical bouncer will bounce to Greenies every 12 hours or when captured.

If you’ve never treated yourself to Korean cuisine, there are so many dishes you need to try! However, kimchi has cemented its legacy as one of the most reliable staple dishes for traditional Korean dining. This side dish of salted and fermented vegetables that are finely seasoned is s great introductory meal to whet your taste buds. You can even pick up some cabbage and prepare it at home!

Cinco de Mayo Means Mexico Global Grub!

Feliz Cinco de Mayo! It’s the annual day of celebrating the Mexican Army’s underdog victory over France way back in 1862, though the date is often confused in the United States with being Mexico’s Independence Day. We’re happy to set the record straight while offering another of our Global Grub specials, with Mexico Global Grub hitting the map today at 15:00 MHQ time!

This virtual Global Grub special will join the ranks of current Global Grub Munzees, including Thailand, Switzerland, Australia, and China. Five Mexico Global Grub Munzees will be deployed. They will be bouncing to regular virtuals and colored virtuals every 12 hours or when captured.

Toss in the garlic, onion, and cumin for a flavor punch! The good news is chili con carne is a very flexible dish, so feel free to tweak this hearty recipe to suit your personal preference!

Prepare Your Appetites for Thailand Global Grub!

สุขสันต์วันสงกรานต์! Today marks the first day of Songkran, the Thai New Year’s national holiday! The next few days will be filled with festivals and festivities, so we thought it was only appropriate to join in the celebration with the launch of our Thailand Global Grub today at 15:00 MHQ time!

Thailand will be joining a variety of other countries, such as Japan, Greece, and China, as our latest Global Grub item to hit the map. The Thailand Global Grub will be a physical munzee, with four Thailand Global Grubs hitting the map in order to celebrate Songkran. The Global Grub items will bounce to Greenies every 12 hours or when captured.

Have you capped a Global Grub Munzee yet? When a Global Grub is capped, the player will earn a special badge containing a unique dish of food from the country on the flag pin. Capturing the Thailand Global Grub will earn you this delicious, piping-hot badge:

There’s nothing like a steaming bowl of Tom Yam Goon to warm you up during a day of celebration. You can celebrate the festivities from home with a Tom Yam Goon recipe. This delicious soup is composed of shrimp stock, shrimp, lemongrass, Thai chilies, lime juice, fish sauce, kaffir lime leaves, and a number of other goodies. These delicious ingredients simmer together to form the perfect bowl of hot and sour soup!

Joining the likes of Greece, France, Switzerland, Australia, and China, our latest Global Grub item will be a virtual munzee. Three Japan Global Grub munzees will be deployed. They will bounce to regular virtuals and colored virtuals every 12 hours or when captured.

We hope you’re ready for a treat, because our fifth Global Grub special officially joined the map today at 15:00 MHQ time. Our Greece Global Grub Munzees will be joining Switzerland, Australia, China, and France as the latest addition to everyone’s favorite virtual dining.

You’re in for an extra treat, because we will be deploying THREE physical Greece Global Grub Munzees this time around. They will bounce to Greenies every 12 hours or when captured. You can cap Global Grub on your own Munzees.

New Global Grub Special Launches for France

Ça Va! Our latest Global Grub special will join Switzerland, Australia, and China as we add a fourth tasty option to the munzee menu. This time around our Global Grub will be a virtual flag of France deployed this afternoon at 15:00 MHQ!

Only two France Global Grub Munzees will be deployed at the moment. They will bounce to regular virtuals and colored virtuals every 12 hours or when captured. As a reminder, Global Grub virtuals will not be blastable, but you can cap Global Grub on your own munzees.

These virtuals WILL be attracted to magnets, so don’t forget to stop by the Freeze Tag Online Store and pick some up some Virtual Munzee Magnets if you haven’t already! Each magnet will allow you to attract up to three specials or myths for up to one hour after you magnetize a virtual munzee of your choosing!

Players will earn a new badge containing a unique dish of food for every flag pin they capture. Once the France Global Grub is capped, you will earn the following badge:

Never heard of bouillabaisse? Try out a tasty recipe for this under the sea soup. After all, you can’t be hunting on an empty stomach! Just be sure to leave some room for mille-feuille and crème brûlée for dessert.

Each Global Grub special is very rare, with all Global Grub items remaining on the map until December 31, 2019 at 23:59 MHQ. They will be bouncing around the globe for the remainder of the year, with plenty of chances left to cap one if you haven’t been lucky thus far. We’ll also be putting out an overall capture line in the future, so stay tuned!

Global Grub Special Drops for Chinese New Year!

Nǐ hǎo! To celebrate the official start of Chinese New Year, we dropped our latest Global Grub special. Joining Switzerland and Australia, our newest Global Grub special will be a physical flag of China being deployed this afternoon at 15:00 MHQ!

Only two China Global Grub Munzees will be deployed at the moment. Both will be physical! This Chinese flag munzee will bounce to Greenies every 12 hours or when captured. You CAN capture it on your own munzees.

The Global Grub specials will be very rare and will bounce around the world for the rest of the year. Players will capture flag pins featuring different country maps and then earn badges featuring a unique dish of food from that country. It might be Year of the Pig, but our China Global Grub badge will feature a tasty dish of spiced tofu!

The following badge will be earned for capturing this munzee:

Players will earn a badge for each different type of Global Grub they capture, and we’ll also put out an overall capture line down the line.
