Whomp Nation nearing the finish line

April 15th Shannon & Caley, known as Whomp Nation set out from St. John’s at the easternmost point of North America. Their mission: to ride 2 tandem bicycles from East to West across Canada, from sea to sea.  They are almost to the finish line, only a few days left!  300 km left until they make it to Vancouver where they will be on Breakfast Television Monday morning.  We’ve enjoyed watching and following their trip.  Take a minute to follow them on Facebook or Twitter.

Winners announced in FB contest for reaching 8000 likes

Almost 200 likes were added to the Munzee Facebook page over the last 3 days in order to award one lucky user 50 diamonds and 50 mystery stickers.  Two other lucky users were awarded smaller batches of diamond Munzees.  The diamond Munzee is available in 5 packs with a limited quantity available.  Deploying a diamond Munzee gives the owner 60 points, the highest deployment amount for any Munzee, and shares points with each capture.  For details about the diamond Munzee visit http://www.munzee.com/store/diamond-munzee.html

Capture the cloves!

Website Upgrade and Status Tool

Just a reminder, Munzee.com will be down for upgrades tomorrow (July 10, 2013) from 12pm-3pm CDT. Mobile apps will still function fine and gameplay can continue!

Get Fit this Friday!

Munzee challenges you to get outside and Get Fit this Friday, July 5th, 2013! We will give out prizes randomly to players who capture Munzees throughout the day.  This contest is open to players worldwide.  3 players will win the FitBit™ Flex, and other players will win iTunes™ and Google Play™ gift cards.  Number of participants determines the number of winners.

Speaking of getting fit, Whomp Nation continues to make progress on their bicycle tour across Canada!  Today they’ve made it to International Falls at the Canadian border with the US in northern Minnesota.  Follow their progress and encourage them via their blog.
