Lone Star Bash Weekend Gallery

Lone Star Bash is two (TWO!!) days away, and we’re getting all of the final touches finished. As always, we’ll be taking pictures along the way and sharing them with you. However, we also want to share pictures that you take over the weekend. Whether you’re attending the bash or celebrating in some form around the world, we want to see!

We’ve set up a Google Drive folder where you can upload images from the weekend. After Lone Star Bash, we’ll be putting together a gallery of the weekend including the pictures we take as well as yours!

We can’t wait to see those coming to Lone Star Bash and the pictures from around the world!

Texas History Begins at the Lone Star Bash

This year, our annual party at Munzee HQ is Texas themed. We are excited to share Texas-based activities, locations, and history. With this in mind, we are deploying a new type of Munzee around Collin County, and expanding through the rest of the state during the event. It will give players the opportunity to visit some of our historical locations and learn a bit more about this state we are proud to call home.

This is all part of an initiative to grow communities worldwide and give you a chance to help us grow the map and share significant historical locations. This program will begin soon after we pilot it at the Lone Star Bash. We will announce full details and give you the opportunity to help us load the map with special places! Stay tuned and Munzee On!

MHQ Lone Star Bash!

Since the first MHQ Bash two years ago, the event has continued to grow each year as the biggest Munzee event worldwide. Much like our home state, everything is bigger in Texas so we’re continuing the tradition this year with MHQ Bash 3 dubbed “MHQ Lone Star Bash”!

LoneStarBashBadge_720
MHQ Lone Star Bash will take place on October 7th, 8th, and 9th all around the Dallas area. This three day event aims to celebrate our amazing players and the great state that Munzee was created in. The schedule of events is as follows:

Friday, October 7th

  • Lone Star Bash Kickoff (6 PM): We’ll be kicking off Lone Star Bash at TUPPs brewery once again with food catered by Green Pin Kitchen. The kickoff will work as a meet and greet with the MHQ staff (the entire global team will be here!) and other players from around the world.

Saturday, October 8th

  • Lone Star Bash Games (9 AM): The fun continues on Saturday morning at Gabe Nesbitt Park in McKinney, Texas. There will be plenty of room to cap and deploy while having fun and playing Texas-themed Eventzee games.
  • Lone Star Bash Fair Day (4 PM): What better way to cap (pun intended) off a day of fun than to visit The State Fair of Texas! We’ll be riding the train down to the State Fair and spending the evening exploring what it has to offer. Join the State Fair themed Eventzee hunt to really get a taste of Texas!

Sunday, October 9th

  • Lone Star Dash (8 AM): With all of our talk about fitness, we’ve decided to integrate it into our event. We’ll be hosting a 5K (complete with runner’s bibs and medals) to finish off the weekend! Dress in a TX themed costume for a chance to win a prize! After the 5K, we will have breakfast and a send off event for everyone.]

A list of events with links to the Munzee Calendar can be found here.
