April 15th Shannon & Caley, known as Whomp Nation set out from St. John’s at the easternmost point of North America. Their mission: to ride 2 tandem bicycles from East to West across Canada, from sea to sea. They are almost to the finish line, only a few days left! 300 km left until they make it to Vancouver where they will be on Breakfast Television Monday morning. We’ve enjoyed watching and following their trip. Take a minute to follow them on Facebook or Twitter.
They’ve been deploying Munzees the entire trip, with 70 already on the map. Each of their deployed Munzees have a special capture logo. Check out their Munzee map! Check out their Munzee account
Munzee challenges you to get outside and Get Fit this Friday, July 5th, 2013! We will give out prizes randomly to players who capture Munzees throughout the day. This contest is open to players worldwide. 3 players will win the FitBit™ Flex, and other players will win iTunes™ and Google Play™ gift cards. Number of participants determines the number of winners.
Speaking of getting fit, Whomp Nation continues to make progress on their bicycle tour across Canada! Today they’ve made it to International Falls at the Canadian border with the US in northern Minnesota. Follow their progress and encourage them via their blog.
Are you familiar with the Munzee duo named Whomp Nation? In April, 2013 Whomp Nation pedalled off from the East Coast of Canada to bike 2 tandems across the country. Their goal: to experience the country, the culture, and the people! Shannon and Caley are deploying Munzees all across Canada which have a special capture logo.
