Drink and Disc Golf ZEE-Dayz

As today is International Beer Day and tomorrow is National Disc Golf Day we thought it would be fun to combine the celebrations into one unique ZEE-Dayz weekend! Just make sure that you don’t get too tipsy*!

Double Points Details

From the period of Friday, August 5th at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, August 7th at 23:59 MHQ, enjoy double points on tPOB Pubs, Drink Depot Places, and Flat Disc Golf Baskets!

Seeing all these icons together, the Flat Disc Golf Basket’s shape does have some similarities with a wine glass, no?

Store Sale!

If your stock of tPOB Pubs has run dry, you’ll find that they’re back in the Freeze Tag Store for the same period as double points!

In addition, if you need more Flat Disc Golf Baskets near you, we’ve got a “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” discount at the Freeze Tag Store! Flat Disc Golf Scatters Return!

For the same period as double points, when you capture a Flat Disc Golf Basket, up to 3 Discs may be scattered nearby!

As before, the Discs will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat Disc Golf Scatter owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers/Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well! These disc scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

The rewards for Discs are as follows:

Throughout the years, August in the Munzee world tends to be more relaxed — as birthday month winds down we usually take a bit of a break after all the excitement! Well after celebrating us all month long, we’ve decided to turn it around and showcase how thankful we are for YOU — our players!

We’re calling it the “Player AppreZEEation Celebration” and since you’ve shown us such great support during our UnBirthday month, we’ve got a handful of surprises over the next few weeks!

To kick things off, we thought it would be fun to flock the map again like we did in April — but this time, it’s not Flamingos you’ll be waking up to — read on for everything you need to know!

Refreshing Watermelons

From the period of Monday, August 1st at 00:01 MHQ through Tuesday, August 2nd at 23:59 MHQ, if you’ve captured all the munzees near you, you’ll be happy to discover that your map has been flashMOBBED! ALL Greenies and Virtual Colors will have the “mask munzees” shown below applied to them.

UnBirthday Mailbox Tier 3 Day 3: CH3SHiRE Cat Mech

If you’re a Tier 3 member of the UnBirthday Card Collectors Club, you won’t want to miss out on capping your mailbox today! Inside, you will receive a fully-built CH3SHiRE Cat Mech that auto-deploys. You will also receive the Blueprint to rebuild it as many times as you like with the Cogs you’ve earned from Daily ZeeOps. To reiterate, the mailbox must be capped on July 3rd 00:01-23:59 MHQ time to receive the CH3SHiRE Cat.

NEW CH3SHiRE Cat Mech Details

Like the other Munzee Mechz, the CH3SHiRE Cat is a temporary POB. The CH3SHiRE Cat will remain on the map until it has been captured 5 times, as you can see below.

You can find these cloaked cats reappearing at the landing pads above every 6 hours or when captured.

CH3SHiRE Cats will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture a CH3SHiRE Cat on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same CH3SHiRE Cat visits you. CH3SHiRE Cats are non-blastable. They will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access them by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.

When a CH3SHiRE Cat is captured, it will scatter up to 3 Floating Heads.

These scatters will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Mech owner’s account. This means that unlike Air Mystery Feathers/Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! NEW Bouncer Destination! The teaPOB!

Tier 3 UnBirthday Card Collectors Club Members should receive this new gamepiece as soon as they cap their UnBirthday Mailbox! Like the tPOB Pub and the Scrap Star, the teaPOB is a temporary virtual Bouncer Destination!

Otherwise, if you’re not a Tier 3 UBCCC Member, expect to see the teaPOB in the Freeze Tag Online Store later on!

NEW teaPOB Details

Why use a teaPOB? This extra special munzee has the following awesome advantages:

  • Perfect for travelers who may want the benefits of a tPOB Pub, but for an even shorter time
  • Quick and high points
  • Easy access to multiple tPOB caps at once
  • The ability to share the love with other tPOB owners
  • Achieve tPOB Clan Wars requirements quicker

Here is some other info that should be useful to you:

  • ONLY DEPLOYABLE IN-APP
  • Attracts up to 6 tPOBs over time
  • Stays on the map for 3 days
  • Automatically magnetized when 1st deployed
    • Is magnetizable afterwards
  •  Points:

    • Cap: 10 points + points for tPOBs in the teaPOB at the time of capture.
    • CapOn: 50 points
  • Can be capped once per player per 24 hour MHQ day
    • New tPOB landings do NOT refresh the capture setting
  • The regular tPOB timer is still in effect. If a tPOB times out, it leaves the teaPOB and an open spot becomes available for others
  • Players will see the base icon above for 0, but then a 1-6 as more tPOBs stop by

The deploy circle for teaPOB will be 4,000 feet (1219.2 m) from the nearest Temporary Bouncer Destination. Capture radius is 1000 feet.

To access the teaPOB, turn on your Virtual filter and find it under “Destinations”. If the teaPOB is hosting munzees, it can also be visible with the “All Expiring Specials” filter.

Spend a Golden Afternoon with FL0W3R Mechz!

To bring even more of the colorful Wonder11and characters to life, we were inspired by the beautiful blooms Alice encounters for our newest set of Mechz!

NEW FL0W3R Mech Details

These Mechz are most similar to the MONK3Y, PriM8, and KiNG CoG Mechz in that they are a special combination of Evolution and Munzee Mech. Like the other Munzee Mechz, these are temporary POBs. The S33DL1N9 will remain on the map until it has been captured 7 times, the SPR0U7 will remain on the map until it has been captured 5 times, and the final FL0W3R will remain on the map until it has been captured 3 times as you can see below.

However, we’re introducing something new with these Mechz! This time, you have the option of purchasing the S33DL1N9 HERE, which will evolve according to the table below OR you can wait and try to earn some special FL0W3R Blueprints via certain gameplay actions (more on that below!).

More About FL0W3R Mechz

To clarify some points we made above, you can deploy FL0W3R Mechz in 2 ways:

  1. Randomly evolves from SPR0U7 based on your pool of FL0W3R Blueprints
    • If you purchase the S33DL1N9, your pool includes the 7UL1P and the BL0SS0M shown above
    • You can earn more FL0W3R Blueprints via gameplay which will add to this pool
    • Deploying a S33DL1N9 costs less Cogs than deploying a FL0W3R
  2. Deploy directly from their Blueprint and bypass the Evolution process
    • You will receive the 7UL1P and BL0SS0M Blueprints the first time your SPR0U7 evolves into them
    • As mentioned above, you can earn more FL0W3R Blueprints via gameplay
    • You have the luxury of choosing which FL0W3R is deployed!

Here are the future FL0W3R Mechz you can look forward to earning in July: the SUN, the R053, and the Painted R053!

We’ll reveal how you can earn these Mechz as July unfolds, but as stated above, you’ll be able to deploy them directly without buying the S33DL1N9, though it will take more Cogs to do so. However, if you do buy the S33DL1N9, then as long as you own the Blueprints for these, they’ll be part of the pool that the S33DL1N9 can evolve into!

Scrap Wars: Episode II ZEE-Dayz

A certain space opera’s newest television series debuts today, so it’s the perfect excuse to bring back some beloved specials from earlier in the month. This time, however, it’s your turn to deploy your very own themed Mechz! Read on for everything you need to know!

Updated ARF2D2 + ZEE-3PO

By popular demand, ARF2D2 and ZEE-3PO are now available for players to purchase and deploy! As before, they will bounce around every 6 hours or when capped. They will also stay on the map until they have been captured 5 times, when they will be archived. After the fifth capture these specials will be “swamped” or “scrapped”, respectively, which results in more points for the capper.

You have the option of purchasing ARF2D2 in its own pack HERE, ZEE-3PO in its own pack HERE, or a pack containing both HERE. They’ll be in the store until 23:59 MHQ on May 30th.

As the point values have increased and landing pads have been added, we’ve updated the data table for these Mechz below:

These Mechz will be available for multi-capture. These munzees will not be blastable. They will be attracted to magnets, available from the Freeze Tag Online Store. You can access these Mechz under the “All Expiring Specials” filter.

As before, when an ARF2D2 is captured, it will scatter up to 3 Leash Sabers. Similarly, when a ZEE-3P0 is captured, it will scatter up to 3 Tin Toppers. We’ve updated the points for these as well in the table below:

Double Magnet Effectiveness Details

From the period of Friday, May 27th at 12:00 MHQ through Monday, May 30th at 23:59 MHQ (same period as the special pack availability), enjoy double magnet effectiveness (meaning, magnets will attract TWICE the number of bouncers) AND double capacity on Scrap Stars, tPOB Pubs, Treehouses, and Skylands!

Remember that since Premium Members now attract 4 bouncers with normal magnet usage and 7 bouncers when magnetizing a Landing Pad destination, when doubled they’ll attract 8 and 14 bouncers, respectively!

Flat Day The 13th Part 5: Unlucky Objects

You guessed it! There’s only 1 Friday the 13th this year, so we wanted to make sure this one was extra-special. Continuing our tradition of themed specials, this year we’ve got some Unlucky Objects for you to collect! Please note that as they are MOBs, caps of them will not count towards any Flat requirements in Clan Wars or ZeeOps, though they do look similar to our Flat Objects. On top of that, we’ve got some limited-time and not-so-limited-time badges to earn, a sale, and DOUBLE POINTS on certain types, so make sure to read all the details below!

Unlucky Object Specials

From the period of Friday, May 13th at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, May 29th at 23:59 MHQ, Unlucky Object Specials will bounce around on the map! We’ll be releasing the Objects in waves, but will end at 313 of each Object, for a total of 2191 Specials. They will bounce around every 4 hours or when capped.

These specials will be available for multi-capture. They will be attracted to magnets, available from the Freeze Tag Online Store. You can access the Unlucky Object specials under the “All Expiring Specials” and “All Limited Specials” filters.

Badges

We’ve created 10 NEW Badges for you to earn via specific gameplay actions! As four of them are time-sensitive, here are the details for those first:

  • The 4 time-sensitive badges will only be available for the same time period as the Unlucky Objects are bouncing around on the map.
    • 2 of the badges are based on the total number of Unlucky Objects capped. You can see what the first badge in the line looks like below.
    • 1 of the badges is based on capping one of each of the Unlucky Objects, so make sure to cap as many as you can!
    • The final badge has very special requirements which we’ll keep a secret for now… think you can figure it out?
