No Purchase Necessary to Enter the LotterZEE!

Like it says in the title, unlike the real-world’s lottery, it’s free to play our LotterZEE! If you see one near you, cap it! You’ll find it behaves much the same way as the typical monthly special, though there is a unique number mechanic that may dictate which scatters you cap — make sure to read all the details below! Starting at 12:00 MHQ on August 26th, LotterZEE specials will bounce around the map until 23:59 MHQ on September 23rd.

LotterZEE Specials

These rotating randomizers will be released in waves, but will end at a total of 500 Physical LotterZEE Ball Machines and 500 Virtual LotterZEE Ball Machines. They will bounce around on the map every 4 hours or when captured. You can find ball machines at the following munzees near you:

Both will be worth 100 points for the Capture and 25 points for the CapOn, so you don’t want to miss out! Physical LotterZEE Ball Machines will be attracted to Physical Magnets, while Virtual LotterZEE Ball Machines will be attracted to Virtual Magnets. To access these specials, please turn on your “All Expiring Specials” and “All Limited Edition Specials” filters.

When you capture a Ball Machine, up to three LotterZEE Ball Munzees will scatter nearby, like Feathers, but they will only be visible to the player that triggered them. These munzees will stay on the map for 2 hours or when captured and will be worth 50 points. You’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well! However, you’ll want to be choosy about which numbers you cap!

Winning Numbers

Each week, there will be a secret three-digit number that is the winning number. If you manage to cap the digits of that number in the right order, then you’ll earn a special badge with that winning number on it! The first player who does this will also earn a Zed prize!

To clarify, the caps do not need to be consecutive in the sense that capturing any munzees that are not LotterZEE Balls will not affect your LotterZEE  number stream, for 2 reasons:

  1. You may not receive 3 LotterZEE Ball scatters every time you capture a LotterZEE Ball Machine
  2. You may want to choose which numbers go into your LotterZEE number stream — maybe you have a lucky number you’re shooting for?

Here’s an example to help illustrate: let’s say the winning number is “512.” To have that number present in your LotterZEE number stream, you could:

  1. Capture a LotterZEE Ball Machine
  2. Capture a 5 LotterZEE Ball
  3. Capture a Skyland (or other types)
  4. Capture a LotterZEE Ball Machine
  5. Capture a 1 LotterZEE Ball
  6. Capture a 2 LotterZEE Ball

This would have your number stream set to “5, 1, 2”. However, if you captured a 3 after step 4, then your LotterZEE number stream would be “5, 3” and you would have to start over with capturing a 5 again first to try again, i.e. “5, 3, 5, 1, 2”. So, as long as the winning numbers are within your number stream during the week, you will have met the requirement!

Prize Drawing

In addition, each time you capture a LotterZEE Special, you will earn an entry into a prize drawing we’ll have each week, where we’ll randomly choose 10 winners! The more specials you cap, the more entries you will have! There will also be a Grand Prize Drawing once the specials have left the map!

Badges

There will be eight badges to earn for these specials. Four of them are based on capping the winning numbers as described above. The other four are based on the total number of LotterZEE specials you capture, but just how many captures it takes to earn all 4 badges will be kept a secret! You can see the first badge below:

We hope you are game for these new specials!

Munzee on!

No purchase necessary to win. The LotterZEE Specials not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with real-world lotteries. For the Prize Drawings mentioned above, the number of eligible entries received and total prizes available determines the odds of winning. Winners are selected at random by Commentpicker.com. Prizes from the LotterZEE have no cash value.
